Erect & Dismantle Restricted Height Scaffolding


Mobile work platforms such as Aluminium scaffolds are used by most trades in the building and construction industry, they are designed so that most people will be able to erect them with ease after appropriate training.

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the general knowledge and base skills to undertake activities related to erecting and dismantling of Aluminium Mobile Restricted Height Scaffolding.

This course is not designed to give or provide the participant with sufficient information or training to undertake the erection and dismantling of scaffolds over four metres in height. To erect and dismantle scaffolds over four metres you are required to hold a High Risk Licence.

$170 per person 

This course is based on Australian and New Zealand Standard 1576.1:2010.1: Scaffolding Part 1: General requirements and various Codes of Practice.

  • Components of mobile scaffold
  • Site and job planning activities
  • Pre-operational and post-operational check activities
  • Identify, report and record faults
  • Erection and dismantling of mobile scaffold tower

On completion of this course, participants will be able to erect, dismantle and safely use most types of mobile scaffolding towers up to four (4) metres with reference to the relevant WHS requirements, supplier’s assembly instructions and maintenance guides.
  • Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
  • Wallet size laminated card. ( “Duty of Care” proof of training card)

  • Wear fully enclosed steel cap footwear, high visibility shirt and long pants/trousers.
  • Hard hat, safety glasses and appropriate gloves.
  • Photo Identification is required for courses (i.e. Australian Drivers licence, Passport or Proof of Age Card). ID must contain photo, signature and date of birth.
